Take some time for you.
Small wonder you feel totally overwhelmed. Any human with feelings would. Its a lot. Even what you’ve mentioned here is a lot and that’s a couple of incidents…never mind the stuff that’s been drip fed you over the years.
If you need a GP …if you are overwhelmed/low enough then please. Seek that help.
Other things that can help…exercise. like you really feel like doing that. I know. But exercise. Walk, slowly. In the sunshine. Its still a beautiful world If we can get out of our thoughts long enough to be present and notice it.
Theres a certain freedom in accepting that this stuff hurts…and that that is totally ok. Its what makes us humans. Not robots. Treat yourself with precious kindness. Eat good food. Be mindful of your thought processes…calling ourselves fools, useless, stupid, and all the other stuff does not help us to feel better. It continues the work they started but you can’t walk away from yourself. So change the voice inside as if you were speaking to a dear child. Soothe yourself.
