Has anyone been able to do this in secret? I wonder if I could get a furnished rental place. Be there ready to go to. I could leave with just the clothes on my back.
I would have to organise it totally in secret though. No phone calls, only on line. I have nobody to help. Nobody to do it for me.
Has anyone managed to do this? Am I being ridiculous?

      Hi there,

I went to hotels initially then from there organised temporary accommodations. This was secret. I initially tried friends, it did not work.

I eventually got rental place unfurnished and got stuff later. I did get older furniture / utensils etc. initially.

        Hi, thank you for replying
How long were you in hotels for? And how did you actually find and secure a rental? I don’t mind if you message me privately if you don’t want to post that here

You could definitely arrange something online only using AirBnb – even if it’s just temporary. Or a hotel as someone else suggested.

You could also use Spareroom, that has a chat function where you can communicate with the person renting the room/flat. But with that you’d probably still want to view the place before accepting it to make sure the room is real etc.

      Hi
I left with my children and went to a motel for the night.
After that we found Airbnbs and stayed with friends until we found a rental.
I ended up starting again and buying 2nd hand furniture. and it’s amazing. I didn’t really care about letting go of the family house in the end. To be free and safe is the main thing.
