I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas they could share. My ex partners mum has emailed me a couple of times to say she’s packed up my things and could I arrange some way of collecting them.  I don’t want to reply because she’s very close with ex partner and they live together. I don’t want to give any clues by replying or give him a route to contact me, or find out where I am.  I can live with not getting my possessions back, but there are some course certificates and paperwork I could do with having back, and a couple of items my children (from earlier relationship, not the abusive partner) made me which have sentimental value.  Has anyone got any ideas about mediators who could organise for me to collect these items without direct contact with his mum? Friends have offered but I don’t want to involve them and they can also be tracked back to me.  Any ideas or information would be much appreciated.

      Hello Sunlight,

I am wondering if you have considered contacting a local moving or removals company for this task? Of course there would be a fee for this, but they may be best placed to help make the collection?

Otherwise you could ask a third party as you say, but I can understand your hesitation in doing this.

      Take care and keep posting,
      Lisa
