I don’t know what to do !!! Gifts have started to be delivered. (item removed by Moderator), an area of my life he found disgusting because I rescued them and now (item removed by Moderator) arriving. (timeframe removed by Moderator) an expensive (item removed by Moderator). I dread the door knocking . Constantly looking out of the window and checking before I leave the house. I don’t want these gifts but don’t want to make contact to send them back

This is the same things he did last time isn’t it, if I’ve remembered correctly your last post?

I see what you mean about a poisoned chalice. If you keep them you’re accepting his gifts and feel like you owe him something, and if you give them back he gets contact with you.

A businesslike text saying you don’t want them and asking for an address of a neutral party where you can drop them off for him to pick up later? It’s tricky. Use the perishable stuff and put the non perishable stuff in storage to go back to him at a later date?

The feelings during this time, including terrible guilt (crazy, but we’ve all been there!) are awful.
      Stay strong.

Thank you for replying. If I message him he will be overly nice so I am sending it back to who delivered it. They are collecting it (timeframe removed by Moderator). I have to stay no contact because I feel guilty for ending the relationship and he will worm his way back as just friends like last time. I can’t go through it again, I already feel better, booked a holiday with a friend and have joined a walking group. This forum has helped so much and I realise I am lucky as we never lived together so I’m safe. I have opened up to my daughters who are being very supportive

That sounds like a brilliant solution to what he’s doing! Xx
