      Hi

Did you have to attend for this? Or could you just submit evidence and get an official support person to go on your behalf?

I’m not sure I would be able to do this, go in person.

      Hi terribleheadspace,

Thank you for your post, however I want to let you know that due to our Forum Guidelines it will be difficult for any users to reply with any detail regarding their experience of this. We cannot have any mention of legal proceedings, whether past, present or future on the forum because it’s in the public domain. It may jeopardise any further investigations and could put women at risk.

For information and advice regarding a non molestation order I suggest contacting DV Assist.

Also have a read through the Rights of Women’s Guide to Domestic Violence Injunctions which explains the process.

The Rights of Women also provide information about special measures that might be available in the family courts.

You could also contact your local domestic abuse service to ask if you can be linked with any one to one support, who might be able to support you through this process.

      Kind Regards,

      Lisa
