I was abused/groomed by a man much older than me who preyed on my vulnerability and abused his position of power to get what he wanted. I was just a young girl with a troubled background and he gave me the attention and “love” I’d unknowingly been craving all my life. As ever it started with small things leading to SA and mental manipulation. He had big plans for the future and worked with high flying people in an attempt to make his dreams come true which never came to fruition. He also had a patented st the same time he was abusing me and simultaneously moved on to another woman. It’s insane how these people can live so many lives at once and keep track of all the lies.

Anyway, I’m now well away from this and me and his partner st the time are in good contact and have been helping each other through the healing journey over the last (detail removed by Moderator) years. It’s been a long tough journey but my life is now better than ever. I feel that I’m now ready to start telling my story in the hopes that it will one day help other people in the situation I was in years ago.

If you’re reading this and struggling, just know you’re not alone and it really does get better, just hang on in there and reach out for help where you can.

Here’s to healing, recovery and ending DA and SA! x
