      Hi 🙂

I experienced a really bad DA relationship (detail removed by moderator) years ago; physical abuse, psychological abuse and coercion was a big feature. I asked for help but was no-further-actioned by professionals. He ended up breaking our sons ribs and causing our son to have severely damaged lungs and our son passed away in his sole care – I was at work at the and didn’t know any of this was going on until I got a phone call to say my baby had passed away. Family Court have been ruthless.

I want to make a difference for other women and children, in memory of my son and to make positive changes for all families experiencing domestic abuse. I’ve began 2 petitions so far (neither have been approved yet as apparently there’s a long waiting list).

Hi SD, gosh, can only imagine, utterly heartbreaking, horrendous. Were any of these professionals held accountable? I dont know how you get up every day; guess there have been many days you havent; sounds like you have found some inner strength in helping others, its amazing what you are trying to do. I would support as well if you can let us know how some way xx

      Hi Sweet Disposition

Hardly any words are able to come out, this is so shocking, I am terribly sorry for your loss. I hope you were able to grieve. I can only echo above words, you are so strong and courageous to turn your experience into a positive fight for others.

I just wish to say a word of caution to everyone when you’re signing up for the petition, please open up a separate email account for it, with a non-identifying email address and name… my ex did find me signing one of the petition where I used my real name and trolled me, I had to ask the organisers to remove my name and I deleted my account. Safety first.

Sweet Disposition, I wish you strength in your fight, I’m sure your son is with you in heart and spirit 💖

Thank you so much for the kind words and support <3 we’re still going through (detail removed by moderator) but once it’s all over I’m hoping to try and get a law passed to stop them no-further-actioning specific requests for help as this could be the turning point for families everywhere
