The solicitor’s draft letter say that I will be in contact once my husband has moved out, about finding a time for him to see the kids. They adore him (on his good days) and one son is particularly close to him, so I want them to see each other .. but how does that work when you’re trying to sever ties in the early days?

Any ideas of what has worked (sort of) for you?

Hmmm this is a tough one.

      What’s best for your children:

1 a to have no contact with their dad; or
2 – to have contact with an abuser?

It is also the predicament I am in. I am going no physical contact but video calls 3 times a week until the court tells me otherwise. In my case I feel that although my ex has never (physically) abused our child, he’s still an abuser and I am not exposing our child to this until either he gets help (DVPP) or the courts tell me I have to.

As ever, be fair but go with your gut.

      Good luck xx
