I’m unsure. The night before (detail removed by Moderator), do you think it’d be best to book a hotel room?

Personally I do, either that or stay with a female friend.
And not tell anyone where you are.

Thanks ftc. I worry about what he might do to the house, but then, on the other hand, it means he won’t be presuming I’ll give him a lift there, and having a tantrum when I say I’m not going to do that.

I have absolutely no doubt at all that he will believe I will take him in my car.

Swings, roundabouts. It’s all a nightmare merry go round.

AT least in a hotel you could actually perhaps go for a swim in the evening (spa deal on one of the many) – have something nice to eat in the evening, even a glass of wine. clean sheets and then some space in your head. Just a thought. But then I love hotels…no housework to do..etc.

I have booked one. Got a decent deal on a local spa hotel. I decided better the house suffers than I do. I can go (detail removed by Moderator) refreshed and aware.

I’m totally with you on that ftc. Love a hotel too. Their menu looks lovely, so I think some nice room service and a facial might be added to that swim.

I don’t want to ask friends as I’ve sort of become isolated and feel it’d be at the least cheeky. I’m hoping I can slowly pick back up with them over time.
