Hey! I wonder if anyone else has applied to do home schooling in refuge to avoid thei child having to keep switching schools over and over untill they find somewhere permanent? Does anyone know if this is possible?

      Hi Sarah30

Sorry, this post seems to have got knocked off top spot so I’m bumping it.

I don’t know if refuges have special rules, it may be down to individual refuges.

In terms of the law, anyone can homeschool.

I’d say it’s a bit of a mixed bag in terms of benefits and problems though and how well it works for the child will depend on the child’s personality.
