      Hi Rosemary,

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. It may be worth speaking to you local Women’s Aid service. A worker may be able to help around this issue and have suggestions for how to ensure your items are collected safely. You may have been told this already, but a local domestic abuse worker should also be able to advocate to housing to help make you a priority need to be re-housed.
I hope you’re able to get this sorted soon. Understandably, this is all extremely stressful. You may find it helpful to speak to Supportline, who offer confidential emotional support to reach people before they get to “crisis” point. They offer support by telephone, email and post. They work with callers to develop healthy, positive coping strategies, an inner feeling of strength and increased self-esteem to encourage healing, recovery and moving forward with life.
      Take care,

      Lisa
