growing up my family made christmas such a big, big thing but never really celebrated the new year at all. so i have always felt a bit on the outside looking in when i see how crazy people go in the hours towards midnight
if this is your first because of being out of a relationship then it will feel very different – and there may quite possibly be others who are not feeling so cheerful as well. maybe some are smiling but underneath they too might have their own troubles
who knows what next year will bring your way. and who knows where you will be & what you will be doing this time next year. maybe look forward to that

oh watersprite thank you for highlighting this – one of the main reasons i wrote this post was to encourage us to first & foremost be kind to ourselves
but i didnt know how to amend a post. as i posted, fireworks were going off near my property & i felt like a war veteran – jumping out of my skin! so at the time of writing i wasnt able to write what i had planned due to my sudden lack of concentration

and by the way have just started a book explaining the lethal combination of n….ssism & gaslighting – how this keeps us locked into toxic relationships. so if its any good i will let you know
