When I arrived it felt really strange as he’s always nearly been with us. But when he has we were always on eggshells. It’s the first time away without him. Sounds silly but I kind of think I’m missing out at times. X

I went away with my daughter recently. At first it was weird! Then we started to really enjoy the freedom, we did what we wanted, went where we wanted & the whole holiday was just bliss. No fights now worrying about his temper just me & my girl enjoying our time together. It made me realise how much stress he brings to the table. Enjoy your time with your boys, you can do anything you want & nobody can tell you otherwise xx

      Hi Betterdays
Great you are away with your boys.
I was away with friend recently and it was heaven how I didn’t have to be on egg shells I was a little bit as a residual but I voiced it to friend and she was so fab – absolutely understood and kept reassuring me.
I often felt like a single person when we were together so I thought of that when I read your post above. Did you not feel you were missing out when you saw “normal” couples togetherness? If you did remember that.
The wrong man can make you feel so alone within the relationship.
So where’s the benefit when you can control enjoy your own life alone out of the relationship.
