      Hello Brokenbee

I am sorry you are living like this and suffering at the hands of the one person in life you are supposed to feel supported and loved by.

I didn’t understand the ‘husband half my age’ bit. Its important not to give any personal information away in public posts here, such as your age, his age, years together, things that could identify you online to someone who could put you at risk, just so you have some protection whilst you post on here, to do it safely.

It can take time to tell your experiences and there is no rush, take your time, we are here to listen and help where we can and to share our learnings from our own journeys, without judgement.

Do some reading of other’s posts which can help you to better understand the usual behaviours of abusers, and you may see many familiar tactics that you have experienced.

I hope you will feel that at least here now you won’t feel so alone and have joined in a supportive place where you can speak as you want.

      warmest wishes

      ts
