I was wandering if anyone has haf similar issues and if they had seen any specialists gynea or pain that have helped them in the uk as only specialist i can find googling who look beyond juat endo pain are american.

There doesnt seem to be any where to go for discussing long term pbysical impact of abuse. i have recieved counselling for cptsd so if anyone has any suggestions would be grateful

      Hi Escapedbuthaunted,

I’m sorry you are suffering the effects of past sexual abuse.

If you haven’t already, you can try speaking to your GP. Perhaps you can contact your local domestic abuse service and explain what you are going through. They may be able to search for a relevant service in the area that you may benefit from.

Rape Crisis may also be useful to talk to. They specialise in sexual abuse, so may know of specific services that exists that can help address the physical impact of such abuse.

Hopefully someone from the forum may still come forward that know of any such support as well.

      Take care,

      Lisa

Where I am the rape crisis centre had specialist Drs for survivors.

Perhaps there is a place like that around where you are. That would be the only place I could think of – it was attached to hospital.
