  So I said to my partner I haven’t ordered the online food shopping yet can I have some money Todo so. His response was (Detail removed by Moderator) and complains about money. He gets a very good wage.
  So I back down and don’t end up ordering food for the week.
  
  Is this a form of abuse?

  Yes. Financial abuse and controlling food intake. Both fairly serious.

  Definitely abuse. Financial as he’s withholding money you need to shop and emotional too as he’ll make out it’s your fault there’s no food in the house.
  I hope he thinks again so you can get the food ordered xx

  Thanks I thought so and through it wasn’t just me over reacting, he also kicked off coz I wanted to go for a shower coz it meant he would have to open the door for the takeaway he got me to order him!!
