It is ** p.m., and I am in tears. (detail removed by Moderator) has been very tough. He pushed me into the wall, and I hurt my head. He apologised, but then he locked me in his room for about ****. I had to beg to leave; he was punching the ******* and saying irrational things. I raised my voice to alert (detail removed by Moderator). He himself warned, “(detail removed by Moderator)” and he was correct. I cried out and screamed, but no one arrived.

I escaped. (detail removed by Moderator). However, I have realised that I am really alone.

I’ve never shown him I was scared – until now.

If only I could help him, nothing I do or say seems to reach him. It’s sad and tragic.

      Hello Find-inner-peace,

I just wanted to offer some support on your post and hope that you are doing okay this evening. It sounds like you’re going through such a lot. Please do remember that you can reach out via the Live Chat if you are in need of additional support with things. https://chat.womensaid.org.uk/

An apology is not sufficient when someone has physically hurt you, what you’ve described is really concerning and it’s important to remember that you can call the police to report this, if it happens again, or if you feel in danger at any time. If you are not feeling safe at home, there are also options for alternative emergency accommodation.

Take care and keep posting to let us know how you’re doing,
      Lisa
