New here. (timeframe removed by Moderator) days ago I bit the bullet and long story short; I decided to get my husband arrested (legal detail removed by Moderator) Police let him go because he spun a brilliant tale and blamed me. He’s been arrested (number removed by Moderator) times before but I never did anything about it. I’m now alone with our (number removed by Moderator) children and I’m (detail removed by Moderator) pregnant. I feel betrayed/ humiliated/ let down and most of all. … I don’t know how to be alone. He’s all I’ve known . I can’t see any light and just want to give up
Was it my fault he snapped?I’ve so many questions about it all
Was it even abuse ?
Have i blown it out of proportion?

Do you mind me asking who told you that the reason the police dropped charges is because he spun them a brilliant tale and blamed you?
Did you hear this directly from the Police?
My feeling is that mainly these cases are dropped because there’s not enough evidence to follow the case through to court.
If you got the message that ‘the police didn’t believe you’ from him, then be careful.
He’s very much controlling the narrative and using fear to control you. ( the fear that no one will believe you)You are in a very vulnerable position. You’ve done really well to get away and begun the process. Well done, it takes immense strength to do what you’ve done.
