Hello I am sorry I’m advance if this is long and doesn’t make much sense.
I have been in and out of this forum before over several years .
I’m still living with husband he has ended things however but awaiting to find somewhere when he has money to move out so he has his room and I’m on sofa etc.

There have been multiple things happen mainly just lots of smashing things doors walls shouting obscenities at me. I have called the police (detail removed by Moderator) in duration over many years. First time he was arrested (detail removed by Moderator).

The last time it was a mistake to call them , he was only kicking off not being physical but just generally being erratic and intimidating and he goaded me saying call the police then I did and then hung up. They rang back I explained the situation and apologised . They then turned up. Took details dash form etc and took him to another place for night ( he walked back however (detail removed by Moderator) hours later) .

That was the end of the matter.. no offences committed etc .

I then receive an email from the lady police officer asking if they can meet up in next few days ? I was a bit panicked and explained I was worried i had done something wrong – she said it was just because the incident remains open their end and that they have reviewed circumstances and I was not offered the safeguarding /support.

So I’ve agreed to meet but I’m terrified to . I’m just curious as to why they really wanted to meet me face to face and why I couldn’t over phone speak . Does anyone have any experience as to what they will doing when I meet ? Im a nervous person generally but im so worried about this that im in trouble for calling them or that he is then in trouble that they are going to persue something it’s making me feel sick.

Sorry if that makes no sense .

They need to see you are safe especially if they have tried to call and not got in touch with you

Police ignored me. They have checks here but police have never contacted me off their own backs. I never reported him though. In some circumstances police blamed me instead???????? This was some time ago now. I go to them now if need be (rare)
