Would you consider a drink driving ban on a person you’ve just met a big red flag… Thoughts please.

      Thank U.

The only people who I know who have had a drink driving ban are heavy drinkers. My abuser also drank and drove because they just don’t care about anyone else.
For me it would be a sign of addiction or heavy substance use but possibly an abuser. I wonder if sometimes they use alcohol to numb themselves to how horrible they are.

My ex has a history of drink driving ban and still drink drives now. He doesn’t give a d**n about anyone else. Would be a huge red flag for me now if I ever considered another relationship (which is highly unlikely after how much damage he has done to me).

Yes. My abuser got caught but it was drunk in charge of. They are now on a driving ban for drug driving instead. They still say it’s not their fault!!! Got stopped for a totally other reason so blames that on the ban. Red flag, beacon, balloon. Personally if anybody thinks it’s ok to have enough to drink that they could get and get in a car and drive it has little thought for anyone else. I would say it’s a very selfish trait at the very least.

They hide their drinking initially. The ex got a drink driving ban as well. Imagine he would have gotten more by now. Why he did so much drinking is beyond me. Always a drink in his hand.

My partner is an alcoholic. 100% it’s a red flag and I’d run a mile. He’s just lucky he’s not been caught but the next time he does it I have been advised to call the police.

Yes if this was happening it would make me not continue after situation with various drinkers I know.

It’s easy to choose soft drink instead
