Alot going on right now – will try and be as vague but as detailed as I can be without giving too much away and being moderated out.

Ex was due in court (currently going thru (detail removed by Moderator)) and he never turned up. So the date has been pushed back. It’s coming up soon. I’m annoyed and scared all at the same time. I swear he’s doing it on purpose – dragging it out. Prolonging my suffering.

I viewed the court aswell – saw where the jury will be and stood in the witness box. Absolutely terrifying. Felt better with the screens around me, bit more like a bubble.

      Feels so real now. 🙁

Hi there, mine dragged it out too. I’ve been to court and given evidence. The screens are a big help. Just imagine you are an actress when you give your evidence. It distances yourself from the reality of it all. I was Meryl Streep! From other accounts of court on here these perps are all the same. Expect some ridiculous defence and just say that didn’t happen, or that’s not true. You will be great. Well done for going and holding him to account. PM me if you want more info x

That happened to me too. He just did not turn up. I feel for you.
Make sure you give a strong performance and put him in the ground there.
Break down afterwards, not in the court room. x*x

Don’t think I’m going to get a choice in where I breakdown in all honesty – I’ve already warned them all that I am going to cry. Alot. THey’ve said it doesn’t matter, and if I need a break, judge will grant me one.

He’s already said I’m lying and making it all up, infuriates me that he didn’t even turn up to court though! And nothing has been done about it either. I already know what he’ll plead so there’s no need for him to drag it out!

Didn’t realise it was so common for them to simply not show! x

And it is also common that they say we lie.
Just see him as a worthless abuser, not someone you had a relationship with. If a stranger would do that to you , what would you do? You would make sure the judge gives him a good sentence. x*x
