Are there any support groups I can join online? I feel too weird about going to any in person yet and with everything going on at the moment I’m not sure there would be any anyway!

I’m in the process of leaving and this is the part that I always struggle with and end up back together, just thought that the bit of extra support from a group might make the difference this time!

Also I’ve recently read ‘living with the dominator’ and it helped me a lot, can anyone reccomend any similar that would be useful?

Why Does He Do That by Lundy Bancroft is a great book. You could try looking at the Freedom Programme through your local women’s aid. It can be done online x this forum is by far the best I’ve come across for support and knowledge x Keep posting and reading other posts, it will help you understand. On average a woman returns 7 times to her abuser before finally breaking free for good.
