I posted here a while back about the situation with my husband.  I thought I would share the end of the story.  He died last (detail removed by Moderator).   Not sure of the cause yet but the reality is alcohol killed him.
I am struggling,  I still loved him,  so I am mourning.  He has left behind one last act that I will have to sort out, and I will be angry about that.  But at the moment I am back to the beginning of grief and loss.
Would appreciate wisdom from any one who has been here x

      Hi Bulbssprouting,

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re struggling. It can be really confusing when the perpetrator of your abuse dies. As you said, you still loved him and are now mourning, having to go through grief and loss anew. I’m glad that you’ve reached out here for support and I’m sure that there are other women on the forum that have been through this situation, hopefully they’ll be able to reply soon and share their experiences. In the meantime, Mind have some information on bereavement and grief on their website, including details of specialist support services.

Take care and keep posting to let us know how you’re getting on,
      Lisa
