All around
Rang out the sound
Of happy celebrations
unity and joyous elationsThe world it seemed
Had nothing beamed
Of what was happening here
This sad ageing woman’s fearBut I raise a glass
To HM 70 years amassed
A selfless dutiful public life
A Much loved honoured dignified wifeRemembering from decades past
A life and love thats seen to last
So here’s to hope to love thats shared
A jubilee memory of those that caredTo she who endures shows us all
No matter what we shall not fall
We must live on Without lost love
With courage and hope in faith from aboveOnwards…like a marching drum
our broken fragile hearts beat onLife!
