A man wanted to latch on to me

What a horrible experience for me.
A man liked me so much and fell in love with me.
He tried every opportunity to talk to me and he even kissed me on my face unexpectedly at the end of a conversation.
I felt horrified.
He tried to convince me that I would be better off in life if I became his life partner instead of living alone.
I told him in the face that I was not interested and would never change my mind.
He said that he is heart broken now.
Do I look as if I care?
Another man who cannot cope with a woman living on her own.
