Hi Roseycheeks,
I’m not aware of dedicated financial support to help with legal fees when you’re not eligible for Legal Aid, but there are some organisations that I can suggest who you may find it helpful to reach out to.
Rights of Women provide free legal advice in areas of the law often needed around domestic abuse. They have advice lines, including a dedicated family law line, and lots of information in guides on their website.
You can use the search function on the Law Works website to find a legal advice clinic near you.
The Law Centres Network mainly provide advice and representation for marginalised people or those facing discrimination of social welfare law, but some centres are able to help people separating from a partner.
RCJ Advice have a Family Legal Service offering free advisory appointments to people who can’t afford a solicitor.
Affordable Justice is a firm of specialist family law solicitors set up to provide affordable legal advice and representation for women who are not eligible for Legal Aid.
Take care and keep posting,
Lisa
