So my ex was a pretty interesting person. He was “exotic”, talented, famous in his country. I loved explaining to people “my husband is this, done that” etc because it made me interesting too. I’m away with work and got into conversation with a man about various things and before I knew it, the words were out, “my husband is…”. Am I so b****y uninteresting that I have to rely on him to make conversation to make me seem like someone interesting to talk to?
I need to stop and big myself up for who I am not who he was.
Sorry for the rant just annoyed that I did that 😤

Yes you do HD! I’ll second that! You know, if you’re struggling to find something interesting add, at that moment (cos it will be just in that moment hey, I’m sure you have loads of interesting stuff about you), then you could always fall back on kind and compassionate – show him these parts of you instead, just an idea xx
