The Nicole Kidman character is superb. The way she covers the abuse and can switch quickly when someone comes in from getting scared and abused to appearing normal. It can be really triggering but i dont think ive seen such a good representation of the behind the scenes dynamics. Its based on a book too. I know its painful to watch but the more times domestic abuse is on the television in such a way, the more people may begin to understand why we defend our sbusers and make excuses for them and how good we bocome at covering up for their behaviour.

Hey kIP, when is it on please?

This was recommended as great watching in the podcast that I listen to. It is called (removed by moderator) and they cover lots of domestic abuse issues.

I will definitely have a watch (and who doesn’t love Nicole Kidman!)

Thanks for the heads up xx
