  Hi. I have previously seen posts regarding books to read about the abuse and why it happens, I seem to remember one called something like ‘why does he do that’, does anyone have recommendations for books to read. Thanks x

  Hi Titanium,
  
  The book you mentioned is by Lundy Bancroft and is very popular.
  I also recommend Pat Craven the dominator.
  There is also a free online course called the freedom programme that gives you free access to read the book.
  I’m almost through the 12 week programme and I highly recommend it for helping me understand abuse and the cycle of abuse.
