I’m trying to protect my (detail removed by Moderator) year old and finding out if I can have a civil partnership agreement with my partner. Even though we are not getting married or living together at the moment. Do you know if you have to have lived all together ?I would like him to have parental responsibility. To help safeguard my son during issues in the future with dad trying to take my son out of town and not supervising or land neglecting him. (Detail removed by Moderator)

A civil partnership is a legal relationship which can be registered by two people of the same sex. If you are in a same-sex relationship.

The only way is if the biological father gave up parental responsibility or had it removed by the court and your partner adopted your son.
