I have been out of a horribly emotionally abusive relationship for (number removed by Moderator) years, I’m divorced but he still won’t let me out of the mortgage. He thinks that the house is his and he can ignore my ownership (50/50). He pays but I paid when we were together.

He often misses payments so my credit is shot and he will struggle to remortgage because of that and he is 55+. Can I actually ever finish this?

have you looked into going to citizen advice breu if there is a way to get out that way if not ring the advice money helpline ive just done this and they are very helpful
