Had to leave a job recently due to domestic violence issues – staying there would have comprised the safety of my house. Ultimately this has put me in a bad position financially.
I’m really stressed and getting work – plenty of interviews – nothing yet.
The effects of ongoing financial abuse – in the past this issue would not be there because domestic violence and “safety of the house from ex husband” was not on my radar. I just had a house and did not consider anyone targeting me.
Continually moving due to let down of systems meant to protect domestic violence survivors are still lacking and giving ex the address.
I’m fighting to keep house.
