In case its helpful to anyone planning to leave, get your finances in order as much as you can, this guide is really helpful. Surviving Economic Abuse is an amazing charity focussing on this aspect of coercive control. I experienced this, and had no idea I was or that it was a thing, I just thought he was weird with money, c**p with money, didn’t think of money. Its only since the post separation abuse has taken place and its been ALL about this that I’ve fully realised the extent of it in the relationship – “What’s yours is mine, and what’s mine is mine” was definitely a mantra. This guide is really helpful if you are still in the relationship.
Not sure if I’m allowed to post a link here but if not google the charity and “Controlling Your Financial Future 6 Moments That Matter”
