Well I have mostly escaped my parents but I naively signed some documents to do with property with them and now they have financial and physical control over that property and the documents.

I can’t even take them to court because of my mental health condition and the fact that they are well respected professionals overseas.

I just have given up on that and just hope for the best. They have no other control over me. Thankfully

I am sorry to hear about this.

Keep on setting boundaries with your patents whenever you are in contact with them. My mum is controlling and has some financial control over me, but this hasn’t stopped me standing up to her and being more assertive recently. X*x

Oh Its easy to set a boundary. they live thousands of miles away. lol!
