Got a solicitor

As of today I have a solicitor. Solicitor aware of abuse situation and wants to apply for (detail removed by Moderator) and (detail removed by Moderator), both without notice to him. We have agreed the likely dates for doing this.

I wondered if anyone has any experience of this, any advice?

I’ve been advised to plan to be away from home for a few days with the kids, to keep us safe.
