Grooming…..

Dear Ladies, i have recently read in Escape, (removed by moderator) that the love bombing period when you first meet and are bombarded with texts, declarations of love etc is actually better described as a grooming phase. This seems to make sense. X*X

My experience was,nt bombarded it was a slow process, of manipulation not grooming,. I thought that the person was actually manipulating as was so clever. You do not realise at the time.

This is interesting…when I described my relationship to my mum she said it sounds like he has groomed me. At the start he gave me so much care, attention, and what I thought was love. Then it seems like he gradually withdrew it all until I was practically begging for him to empathise with me for hurting me.
