Hi all. I’m having a bit of a rough morning at work and I can’t stop panicking. I work from home which helps. Generally telling myself that I’m safe and I’m okay quells the panic. Not today. It keeps rising. Any suggestions on affirmations or things to do that help that rising panicky feeling?

      Hi Sunflowersunshine
Sorry to hear you are having a rough morning.
Can you get outside or open a window to get some fresh air even just for a few minutes? The do some deep breathing exercises away from your desk.
Yes affirmations are a good tool too..as well as saying them, could you write them down to look at. You could write things like:
      I am safe
      I have a good job
      I can do this!
      I can breathe through this.

Some people find calming music helps in the background . I prefer to put on something up lifting that I can have a quick dance to!
Take care honey..you can do this! X
