Hi everyone. I’m new here and thankful to find somewhere with women going through a similar situation. I am currently in the process of leaving my husband, although I am still coming to terms with how abusive he has been over our (detail removed by moderator) year relationship.

Glad you found us here, it has been so helpful for me. It takes so much time to process the abuse. I’ve left my abusive husband but just (detail removed by moderator) months ago and definitely still trying to process things. Accepting you have been a victim of deliberate abuse is really difficult.

Be kind to yourself. Treat yourself as you would your dearest friend….I’ll try to take my own advice 😋
