He raped me for years but convinced me he wasn’t.

I’ve only recently been coming to terms with the fact it was rape.
Its taking over my life. All I can think about is the rape.

      I’m getting lower and lower.

Please ring the rape crisis helpline and visit your GP. Have you had some counselling?

I feel the same way, as others have said, Rape Crisis are helpful, they have an online chat service which I found easier than talking on the phone x

Hi there BettyBoo333, I wanted to offer you some support. It sounds as though you are only just coming to terms with what had been happening for such a long time, it is understandable that it feels overwhelming.

As the others have already suggested, there are specialist support services available. You can find some information about Rape Crisis here. You could also contact RASASC (Rape and sexual abuse centre) They have a confidential national helpline offering counselling and advice.

      Best wishes

      Lisa

You’re so brave for being able to voice what’s happened. Just being able to do that is a humongous step in the right direction. Not knowing what it was for so long and putting up with it of course you can’t stop thinking about it. If a stranger had have done it you would have known straight away and you wouldn’t be able to stop thinking of it. Don’t put yourself down you have so much to process sweetheart just take it slowly as you need to x
