As some of you know my abuser recently moved to a town closer to where I’m now living (a town I have been consistently seen in regularly since moving away).

But this means he’s no longer living in my hometown.

      So I did it!

I went back there, I used public transport, I walked around town with my family, went shopping, had a coffee in a cafe, took my child to the park in the middle of town. And it felt fantastic!

I never thought I’d walk around my hometown again…but, I did it!!
