So, in my class we learned this…….
Two people get on a rollercoaster. One person believes it’s going to be frightening and the other believes it’s going to be exciting. Afterwards, one produces the stress hormone cortisol in copious amounts while the other produces feel good endorphins. So you can trick your brain before you have to face anything. Tell yourself it’s going to be exciting because two feelings are very closely linked but the way you think about them can have a completely different outcome. So job interviews, meeting new people. Even stepping outside the front door! Exciting?

Sure is; making a life adjustment of any kind / healing always involves making a mental shift; re-framing it in some way, taking life learning, finding some positives – to feel differently. The power of the mind is amazing huh x
