My daughter has recently told me that my ex used to hit her when I was not home. She is in her teens now but this happened a few years ago. My ex is a child sex offender now and I have proof of him previously threatening violence towards my children. (I found this after my daughter told me by looking on social media). I have contacted the police by email (I had previous contact with the officer and she specialises in this sort of thing). Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on (detail removed by Moderator)? I hop it does I ******** hate him.

      Hi Kitty

Hugs to you and your daughter, and what a good relationship you have with your daughter that she could speak to you about it.

I am sure if that if that is what your daughter wants and there is enough to go on (detail removed by Moderator).

She does what it to happen yes. She hates him. I’m hoping the tweets threatening to hit my kids will be evidence along with my daughters statement and my own. I’m wondering if police would want statements from other people such as my daughters friends, our neighbours etc

I think they will won’t to build as much of a case as possible, so if others have seen what he’s been like they would want to speak to them.
