After going through the hell of finally escaping my abusive relationship before someone got seriously hurt I am now left with having to fight my innocence on the harassment warning but also have the added dilemma of having to choose between paying my rent on a breached suspended possession order or a council tax bill summons out of my next payment of Universal Credit. I have been desperately trying to get help from the citizans advice but every time I have got there they have had to put a sign up with an apology for closing due to shortages. I’ve been through every government related avenue and been told they can’t help. I don’t know what to do or what is going to happen

      Hello Good Samaritan,

I am sorry to read about your situation. It sounds very stressful and frustrating. Please keep trying with contacting your Citizens Advice and another option may be to phone Shelterline on 0808 250 9114 as they may be able to help you too. Your local Women’s Aid group would also be a good contact point for you and may well be able to offer you formal advice.

      Best wishes,
