ParticipantThis is a great idea!
I had a positive experience today.
I met a supportive GP for the first time today. That was like a ray of sunshine from above. -

ParticipantAt last! I knew you would find one eventually. Maybe now you can get some more support but dont worry even if there isn’t any specific thing you can access you’ve got a GP on your side and that’s worth celebrating X

ParticipantI made the experience that complaining helps 🙂 I will definitely try to see this GP from now on and keep her updated. Hopefully I will get the specialist counselor that I need soon.

ParticipantI started subcontracting again for a particular place today and met the old team of (detail removed by Moderator) who had NOT forgotten about me. They all need me again and when they met me they hugged me and gave me a friendly kiss and spoke about how much the ex manager liked me (an older gentleman) and how much he liked the way I worked and gelled with the team. They were all glad to see me and gave me coffee and looked after me while I started doing the work they needed done.
And I do wonder why my husband said one day that I always take over every situation, how I am the centre of attention, yelling at me in front of his child and the neighbour eventually…Is it a crime to be appreciated to such a degree you know the company which employs you as a subcontractor would not choose anyone else? I mean, they waited for so long for me to come back, the (detail removed by Moderator) held on (knowing my circumstances) and told the team I was sorting out my family abroad (not the case one bit!) and did not even look for anyone else hoping I would come back and work for them…And I did! And they are all happy…So am I!!!
I am happy I sorted their orders today, got told I work so fast, and that they would have more work for me next week! Well, sometimes I like to blow my own trumpet! Working efficiently and giving quality service makes me happy! Receiving compliments makes me happy too! I think I am a lucky girl appreciated by nice gentlemen. So second positive thing, there are some nice gentlemen in this world! Third positive thing, I trust those gentlemen and they trust me!

ParticipantI have managed tonight to host my kids a sleepover, all of them had friends and I made tea for them all and they are all very happy and safe and back home. It sounds simple but making a decision on what to eat for dinner was too much the day before X
