Hey I just wanted to share that I went to my doctor today and asked to be referred for counselling, I was shaking like a leaf and close to tears but I done it! Could be waiting a while but I can’t afford to go private at the moment. I’m really hoping that getting it out and speaking to someone will help cos I am fed up with the continuous thoughts. I feel a little lighter already 🙂

Hey, well done. It takes courage to speak out. If you can contact your local women’s aid or victim support they sometimes know of charities that offer free counselling. I found a great specialised one for trauma. Keep reaching out and asking and googling.

Thank you, my doctor gave me one in the local area that accepts donations so I am going to look into that while I wait for referral. I’ve been reading post on here and taking note of recommendations made so have those to check out 🙂
