I’m used to being ignored by people in a position who cam do something to help and being listened to by people I don’t want to hurt.

But today someone listened to me. I might have made other patients annoyed by taking up too much time, but it was so good to be listened to and to be told they will continue to be there to listen.

It’s indescribable when a professional ‘sees’ you, it made me feel I could do anything.

Yes, indescribable, to be seen, heard, understood.

Gives you vital support and validation.

      So heartening to hear

Thanks for sharing that positive and hope it continues to help with your recovery.

      Warmest wishes

It was someone whose job it really isn’t to listen to me, but he said he will make time for me.
