I spent an hour on phone speaking to various people concerning domestic violence. None of them had a clue. There is so little education I feel like I’m continually having to explain myself.

I got answers and now speaking to an advocate- don’t need stress

You definitely don’t need that stress! It’s unfortunate that domestic abuse is still much misunderstood. It sounds exhausting having to explain. I’m glad you got your answers though and an advocate to make sure you’re being heard and understood.
