      Hi,

Just a short one and to see if anyone else has experienced this:

My partner asked me why I was so quiet…..was I sad? I said yes, I was. He asked what about (hilarious). I said obviously about (detail removed by moderator) (he spoiled another night for us). He was holding my hand up to that point, but instantly took it away. (detail removed by moderator) (I’m presuming it’s withholding comfort). He couldn’t tell me why. Imagine, when someone looks for comfort because of something the abuser has done, the abuser takes away that comfort.

My eyes have opened so much now I know what he is doing/is like.

Yes it’s mind blowing brain washing. They push us off a cliff then rescue us. They abuse us them blame us.

Yes. Once the scales fall away from your eyes it’s a whole new perspective.
