Successful evening!

I just hosted my first house gathering with old friends who I lost contact with during my relationship with my abusive ex. Alot of them were male friends (I wasnt allowed male friends). I am so happy that they are so understanding to the circumstance and that they are willing to still be my friends. During my relationship with my ex if we had a gathering I would panic if there would be enough food and if it was tasty enough. Well guess what? I threq in some pizzas in the oven got some nibbles and it was a success. Had a brilliant laugh and felt like my old self for those few hours I got to enjoy their company. Today is a good day. My hopes are up. Thank goodness for kind loving friends!!
