Things people say (in a good way!)

I just got talking to a stranger because of a work issue and right at the ending of the conversation he just looked me straight in the eye and said ‘Anyway, you want to be moving forward don’t you, don’t be looking back’ and then he smiled and left.
The conversation was about some unrelated admin thing at work and though it was in context, I just thought, how strange that he should say that to me today when I really needed to hear it.

I will never see that stranger again and he will never know that actually, he just gave me a little positive boost in all this.
